Adult Psychiatry
At the TheraMind Center of Santa Barbara we work with many local mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists and mental health nurse practitioners to assist patients 18 years of age and older in accessing the care they need. If you or someone you know is struggling with depression, anxiety, or other mental conditions affecting daily life, please contact us. Our staff assists in scheduling consultations for new patients who seek to be evaluated for symptoms and concerns related to medication management, depression, anxiety or affective disorders which do not present with manic or psychotic features. This would include:
- Major depressive disorder
- General anxiety disorder
- OCD
- Bipolar 2

Persons suffering from affective disorders with manic or psychotic features or addiction are typically not treated by the mental health professionals within our network. For patients experiencing the following disorders or symptoms we recommend seeking services elsewhere:
- Severe neurodevelopmental disorders
- Neurocognitive disorders
- Severe personality disorders
- Schizophrenia disorders and psychosis
- Addiction disorders
- Eating disorders
